This past week we read the story Curious George's Dinosaur Discovery. My class loves Curious George! Combining the fun loving character with dinosaurs was an added bonus. The students did a fantastic job creating their dinosaurs and writing about them. This coming week I am placing plastic dinosaurs, small shovels and sand in my sensory bin. My sand has small rocks and shells mixed into it. I will also leave out the dinosaur materials at the art centers. Some children may want to create another dinosaur.
